DJ Hero has certainly caught the imagination of some already. I’ve listed some of the comments I’ve spotted below – what do you think?

“And now, the greatest news since that time I was coming home from a bar in Barcelona only to find out that Radio Slave was performing by the club near my old apartment and I freaked out because oh my God it’s Radio Slave: Activision has confirmed the development of DJ Hero. Call me a jerk, I don’t care, I’m getting this game.” – Crunchgear
“Now the game has been confirmed for this year by Activision honcho, Bobby Kotick, we’re ready to look forward to long stretches of carpal tunnel syndrome, infinite rage and general angst about how “I hit that note!”. – Consolemonster

“”Not really into guitars? More a fan of the humble DJ? Well, don’t worry – Activision’s got a videogame for you too. The games publisher’s CEO, Bobby Kotick, has confirmed that DJ Hero is in production.” – Techdigest

“”Guitar/rock god simulator games have been occupying the top spot of the gaming world for a while now. That could all be about to change, as we now have that confirmation from the horses mouth, meaning Guitar Hero and its rocking rival may finally have to step down from that pedestal and let something else enjoy the spotlight for a while.” – Shiny Shiny
“Honestly though, who would actually play it and how in the world do they implement it? Crab scratch notation?” – DJ Tech Tools

“A DJ Hero game then might further propel DJ culture into the mainstream, as more kids get into the scene for real after enjoying the game.” – Beatportal
I think that a change from the guitar world is going to be refreshing to say the least…at least the announced djs so far are awesome…with ZTRIP and shadow and talks of daft punk i think that the game could turn out to be more then expected.
